Gypsum partitions are a fast, common way to add cabins and meeting rooms to an open office floor — which also means they're one of the most frequent items we remove during a strip-out. Removal involves taking down the gypsum boards, dismantling the internal metal stud framing, and clearing any insulation or cabling routed through the wall cavity.
Metal stud framing and floor/ceiling tracks are frequently left behind by less thorough contractors because they're hidden once the boards are removed. We remove the complete system, not just the visible gypsum surface.
Once a gypsum partition is fully removed, we patch the floor, ceiling and adjoining wall surfaces where it was fixed, restoring a clean, continuous wall line consistent with the original bare-shell layout.
